FetchHelp began with love.
Not the kind that’s loud or fleeting — but the quiet, steady kind that curls up beside you every night, guards the door when you’re scared, and somehow always knows when you need comfort.
Her name was Stella.
She wasn’t just my dog — she was my family, my travel partner, my heartbeat. Together, we explored mountain roads, camped under stars, and built a life full of little adventures. She taught me more about loyalty and unconditional love than I ever could’ve imagined.
When I lost her, the silence that followed was unbearable. But in that silence, something beautiful took root — a purpose. I realized that what I wanted most was to make sure no one ever felt alone in a crisis, and that every beloved soul — human or animal — had someone looking out for them.

The Brains Of Fetchhelp, Meet The Founder
Cheryl Murphy has never taken the easy road — she builds it herself, reinforces the edges, and then hands everyone else the map.
She started her career in the quiet, sacred world of funeral service, guiding families through the darkest moments with a steady hand and a fierce sense of purpose. From there, she stepped into public health, spending 13 years as an Emergency Response Coordinator — planning for disasters, training communities, and answering the call when things went wrong. In 2015, her work reached the national level when she created a volunteer recruitment and training toolkit that the CDC adopted to strengthen medical response across the country.
But Cheryl’s story isn’t just one of service — it’s one of building.
In 2007, she co-founded the Glass City Rollers roller derby league in Toledo, taking it from an idea to a sold-out first season by pounding pavement every weekend, handing out flyers at every festival, market, and corner she could find.
In 2014, she put sweat equity into creating a brick-and-mortar infrared sauna studio and juice bar — proving again that when she believes in something, she builds it with her own hands.
Most people would stop there.
Cheryl didn’t.
In 2018, she became a registered nurse specializing in cardiovascular and emergency care — taking her crisis skills from the planning table to the bedside, serving patients in the most intense moments of their lives. As a travel nurse, she learned new systems, new cities, new hospitals, and new battles every few months — and she adapted every single time.
Today, she is the founder of FetchHelp — a universal safety network born from grief, grit, and a refusal to let anyone feel unprotected or alone. Combining emergency response, clinical medicine, technology, and lived experience, she is creating a platform that will save lives, protect families, and change how people prepare for the unexpected.
Cheryl doesn’t just have a résumé.
She has a story — one written in resilience, reinvention, and relentless forward motion.
She’s not doing this to get rich.
She’s doing it because the world needs it.
And because she’s the one who can build it.
